Here is an important statistics you might want to share with your church: More that 75 percent of people looking to attend a new church use the Internet. However, according to a study published by The Barna Group, churches continue to lag. Less than 2/3 of churches hava a website and of those than 1 percent of those sites are designed for “seekers.”

Web Ministry is exactly that, a ministry. It needs to be supported with a budget, staff and volunteers to be effective. United Methodist Communications offers an excellent online course on how to get your Web ministry moving. You can learn more here.
